The Senior Technical Recruiter is responsible for leading onsite talent acquisition efforts from the ground level, playing a critical role in identifying, engaging, and hiring high-caliber aerospace professionals across engineering, manufacturing, and support functions. This role requires hands-on recruiting expertise, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings prior aerospace recruiting experience and excels at building relationships directly on the shop floor and within engineering teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Fully onsite talent acquisition support, Monday through Friday.

  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.

  • Developing and executing targeted recruiting strategies to attract top aerospace talent, including direct sourcing, job boards, professional networks, industry events, and technical schools.

  • Managing the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.

  • Maintaining and updating candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Conducting candidate interviews and facilitating technical interviews with department leads.

  • Coordinating pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork.

  • Tracking recruiting metrics and providing regular updates to the HR Director and leadership.

  • Promoting the company as an employer of choice within the aerospace community.

  • Attending career fairs, trade shows, and recruiting events relevant to the aerospace industry.

  • Assisting in refining job descriptions and posting strategies to increase applicant quality and volume.

  • Supporting workforce planning and talent pipeline development for future hiring needs.

Minimum requirements: 

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 3 years in aerospace or aviation manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of aerospace-related roles, certifications, and candidate profiles.

  • Must have experience hiring aerospace engineers and understanding the technical requirements of engineering roles.

  • Proven ability to source and attract hard-to-find technical talent.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Experience working onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing or technical environment.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Willingness to support fully onsite work (this position is NOT eligible for remote work).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience recruiting for FAA-certified roles, A&P mechanics, or composite technicians (preferred).

  • High intellectual curiosity, creative thinking and problem-solving, and demonstrated initiative (preferred). 

  • Passion for aircraft, flying, and all things aviation (preferred).
